Deposit & Payment Terms

Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date.

Final Balance: The remaining balance is automatically processed the morning before your scheduled trip using the payment method on file.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

More than 30 days notice: Your deposit is eligible for a full refund (minus a 5% credit card processing fee) or can be applied as a 100% credit toward a rescheduled trip within the same season.

14 to 30 days notice: Your 50% deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to rebook the open date with another client.

Less than 14 days notice: Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

Less than 48 hours / No-Show: Cancellations made within 48 hours of trip departure or no-shows are billed 100% of the total trip cost.
Weather, River Conditions & Outfitter Cancellations
Trips run rain or shine. In the event of unsafe river conditions, severe wildfire smoke (AQI hazards), or extreme weather, Lower Deschutes Outfitters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip. If we cancel due to safety, you will receive the option for a 100% refund or a full credit toward a rescheduled date.
Permits & Travel Insurance

Third-party expenses—including ODFW fishing licenses, Warm Springs tribal permits, and BLM boater passes—are non-refundable once issued.

We strongly recommend purchasing third-party trip insurance to protect your investment against unexpected last-minute travel delays or medical emergencies.
