Step into the drift boat for a 10-mile journey through some of the most iconic fly fishing water in the West. Whether we are head-hunting for wild Redband trout during a legendary summer dry fly hatch or technical nymphing through deep pocket water or chasing summer steelhead, this day is entirely catered to you. We’ll navigate the canyon’s rugged beauty, keeping an eye out for bighorn sheep and osprey while moving between the river’s most productive runs. As your guide, I’m here to share the technical skills that get fish in the net. Whether you want to dive into Euro nymphing, master your Spey casting on the big water, or simply refine your drift, we will work on whatever you’re most passionate about. If you’re a seasoned angler who just wants to be pointed toward the fishy water, I’ll get the you in position and let you do your thing. From beginners looking to learn the ropes to veterans seeking fresh water, let’s get out there and make it a day to remember.
Fishing is not allowed from a boat on the Lower Deschutes River it is wading only. The boat is used for transportation to various fishing spots.

Whats Included
2026 Full Day Float Pricing: $650 for one / two anglers $675 for three.
Our full-day trips include approximately 8 hours of guided fly fishing on the water. This rate includes bbq lunch and non-alcoholic beverages, flies, premium fly fishing equipment, river shuttle, and BLM Boater Passes: Costs range from $16 to $26 depending on the number of anglers and the day of the week.

The following items are not included in the trip price and must be purchased separately
Waders and Boots: You can find rentals at most fly shops I can help recommend a shop.
Oregon State Fishing Licenses: Pricing varies by duration. A one-day license is $30 ($29 + $1 Columbia River Basin Endorsement). Multi-day options include a two-day license for $49 or a three-day license for $69.
Warm Springs Tribal Permits: Required to access to tribal lands, a permit is $17 per day.
Extras: Alcoholic beverages and guide gratuities are not included in the base pricing.All details and booking links will be included in your inquiry paperwork once your trip date is confirmed.
